DO YOU LIKE TO MAKE PEOPLE SCREAM?

If so, why not consider becoming a scare actor.

There are many different ways of scare acting -

Startle scare - jump out and scream at unsuspecting victims

Distraction - Most people think all you have to do is jump and scream to scare a person but this is not the ideal way to do it. If you can get the patrons to look over to one side of the room then have a character come out from the other side of the room then that will definately be an effective scare.

Following victims - if you are the quiet type, you can just lurk around in the dark and follow your victims around the haunted house.

Camouflage - the concept is to blend in with your surroundings and then you have free reign to torment your victims, by either moving slowly or jumping out at them.

Saboteur - (my favourite) an actor is dressed up in normal clothes and then goes through the haunt with a group of patrons and suddenly gets pulled away by the ghouls and disappear - or - when a group comes down a hallway, you can run out and yell at them to "turn around" or "get out of here" and then a chainsaw guy comes out and chases the actor in normal clothes.

Interacting - you can interact with your victims and tell them about your story, character, ex. witch in kitchen - talk about props in room, what spells you are working on, offer them creepy food, etc.

Burst - an actor would burst out of hidden walls, coffins, doors, crates, etc. and then return.

PLEASE NO TOUCHING PATRONS!
